Bad Contractor Review: Adam Kocerka & Laura Bucki (Manhattan, IL)

It starts with one review. We have started this site to avoid someone else from getting abandoned by this contractor. Adam had previously done work for us, so we hired him again to remodel the bathroom in our condo. We paid him and Laura a 50% deposit of $7,500 for the work. He did the demo in the condo on 12/2/2025, and has proceeded to show up exactly twice in the last two months. At this point, neither he nor Laura are returning our calls with requests to either finish the work or give us a refund and we are left without a functioning bathroom. Avoid this contractor at all costs. Additionally, he had started other smaller projects that are not completed including our kitchen backsplash and wiring our entertainment center (photos below). - C. Cruz & K. Cruz (Chicago, IL)
